I’m a firm believer in sweets—I believe they make everything better! Sending a sweet text can show someone you care, a sweet compliment to a stranger can change their entire day, and a sweet dessert can turn a boring meeting into a reason to celebrate. Just try biting into a chocolate truffle without smiling. I dare you!

My passion for the culinary arts developed out of intrigue and curiosity… and my own personal sweet tooth! Now, I couldn't imagine myself with any other career. I’m so grateful for this sweet life of mine—my clients, their cakes, and the creativity I get to explore every single day.

One Sweet Story

When I came to America in 2002 I only knew how to make an omelette. Ovens were not a common household appliance in India like they are in America, so the first time I saw one I was both excited and intimidated to learn how to use it.

I quickly found a love for exploring new recipes, and transitioned from asking “How do I use this oven?” to “What can I learn to cook next?”. I’ve always had a sweet tooth, so naturally I wanted to learn to bake my own cake. That’s when I fell in love with baking.

I made coffee cakes, birthday cakes, and special occasion cakes for my family and friends. I found any occasion to bake—from birthday parties to baby showers. That’s when I found myself more interested in baking than any other career, and I decided to make a change.

In 2007 I graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Pastry & Baking Arts, and I’ve been baking ever since. Now, a decade later, I have the privilege of baking cakes and desserts on a daily basis—helping people celebrate life’s sweetest moments.

My mission is to bake something that reflects your personal taste—in both flavor and design—as well as satisfies the sweet tooth of your guests. I believe every occasion calls for cake, and I’m lucky enough to help you pick the flavor.

1. OVER A DECADE IN THE WEDDING INDUSTRY

I’ve had the privilege of helping over two hundred couples design their dream wedding cake over the last ten years. It’s such a fun challenge to create something that reflects their personal taste—in both flavor and design—as well as satisfies the sweet tooth of their guests.

2. CUSTOM FLAVOR COMBINATIONS, MADE FROM SCRATCH!

Chocolate and vanilla are great, but have you ever tried a peach bourbon filling, or blueberry lemon curd filling!? There’s a world of possibility out there, and I’m here to help you discover it. We always start with a personal flavor profile that’s special for you. Then I prepare a tasting that includes a delicious variety for you to try.

3. HIGHEST QUALITY INGREDIENTS

It sounds obvious that a pastry chef would boast the "highest quality ingredients”. But truth be told many bakeries sacrifice quality for the sake of quantity. I’ve chosen the opposite. I make it a point to use the highest quality ingredients available and let the taste do the talking.

When done correctly, a little can really go a long way. Our preferred selection of ingredients are rich and delicious, contributing to reasonably sized portions for you and your guests. This means you’ll feel satisfied quickly, and the cost is affordable, and you get the most value out of your money. Talk about a win-win!

The goal is simple: to provide a superior experience that encourages my customers to return for all of their sweets and treats for years to come.

GETTING STARTED

When you first reach out, you can expect a quick, friendly conversation to analyze your needs. Next I’ll create a personal flavor profile for you, then schedule your cake or dessert tasting.

THE TASTING

At your tasting you’ll get try your 3-4 flavor choices, and I’ll include some ideas of my own. Once you choose the flavors you love we’ll discuss your design ideas. By the end of our time together we’ll have a game plan for your cake and payment schedule.

THE WEDDING OR EVENT

One week out we’ll discuss final details for your event. You can expect a quick phone call the day before your event to confirm delivery and assembly details.

AFTERWARDS

I absolutely love hearing about your special day! Within two weeks of your event I’ll touch base with you to hear any feedback you’d like to share. The biggest compliment I can ask for is a testimonial or review!
